Message to Attorney General Garland: Lead, follow or get the hell out!

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “to sit on one’s hands”, defined as “to refrain from acting, intervening or helping in a situation that only requires it”. Well let me introduce you to Atty. General Merrick Garland, who seems to fit that description perfectly.

To be fair, I want to emphasize the words “seems to fit” because who knows, he may be working behind the scenes to indict, convict, and send Trump to jail. Would I bet it is? Absolutely not!

That’s the $64,000 question: is he working behind the walls of the United States Department of Justice on this important case? At this moment, we hear nothing but a deep and very disturbing silence emanating from his office. He could and should make general comments about what the Justice Department is doing and let the American people know if any of his investigations implicate Trump. But all we hear is that silence.

Complete silence is usually an indication that things are not going well or that there is no investigation in the process. Months ago, Garland said no one in this country is above the law, including Trump, but he hasn’t said more since then.

He seems to be very weak, indecisive, unsure of himself. This very difficult and important work requires determination, willpower and courage; he must not have a weak leader. But he’s the man Biden chose. We will soon see what he does when the January 6 committee presents his findings and evidence to him and expects action to be taken.

What if the January 6 committee sent him their findings and very strong evidence implicating Trump and he did nothing, opening the door wide for Trump to run again in 2024?. Could it be that Garland is following this completely outdated Department of Justice policy that says an American President cannot be indicted. Wake up Mr. Garland, Trump is no longer president.

What about the two Trump investigations underway in New York and the one in Georgia? Each was supposed to have solid evidence that would lead to an indictment of Trump, but it seems each is stuck in a standstill, unable to move up a gear.

In the Manhattan district attorney’s case, the two lead prosecutors, Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne, recently resigned because new prosecutor Alvin Bragg decided not to indict Trump. That case is now on hold as this rookie prosecutor seems unable to take such hard evidence to go after Trump.

Then we have the heavy, slow-motion investigation of Trump by New York Attorney General Letitia James. This investigation has been going on for several years; and, yes, I said “several” years. James apparently has ample evidence of Trump’s practices designed “to secure economic benefits — including loans, insurance coverage, and tax deductions — on more favorable terms than the facts warrant.”

Where does this very long investigation go from here? Who knows, we might need to use a mind reader to figure out where he’s going if he’s going anywhere. What about the investigation in Georgia?

After Trump lost Georgia’s presidential election to Joe Biden, he pressured Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to find “enough votes” to swing the election. in his favour.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was given the green light to convene a grand jury in January to investigate Trump’s attempts to void Georgia’s 2020 election. She received the approval in January and the jury will not meet until May 2 ??? What? How can it be so slow?

Watching these surveys is like watching the grass grow. And, yes, it seems that Trump really doesn’t care about the prosecutors who are carrying out the investigations.

Why the hell did Garland fail to reopen this Mueller investigation and the part that says Trump twatch obstructive actions several times? Why didn’t he come up with the obvious with all the evidence of Trump’s crimes at his disposal? This is the height of the incompetence of this slow-thinking individual.

RECENT NEWS! Here is the title I just saw: “Federal investigation into Hunter Biden heats up.” This investigation is being conducted by the US Attorney in Wilmington, Delaware. The article I saw stated that “Hunter Biden and certain of his associates violated money laundering, tax and foreign lobbying laws, as well as firearms and other regulations, said several sources”.

Things are getting hot ? Well, if this Hunter Biden investigation heats up, Mr. Garland, when are we going to hear that the Trump investigation heats up? Or is it dead like a cold stone?. Attaboy, Merrick, that’s the way to go. What, is this guy Merrick like Joe Manchin, a Republican dressed as a Democrat?

Returning to the main premise of this article: if Garland indicates that he has not investigated Trump and has no intention of doing so, even after receiving the full report from the January 6, Biden should fire him immediately and begin the search for a new, highly capable individual who will properly run the affairs of the Justice Department, with the highest priority being the need to finally make Trump pay dearly for the many crimes he has committed. committed.
